Anne will show you various ways of creating striking silhouette images for your cards.

PAINTING WITH POWDERS 10.00am - 1.00pm £9.00
Anne will demonstrate an absolutely brilliant technique for creating your own mini works of art for your card making. You will need to bring, or buy, your own Versamark ink pad for this class + any coloured embossing powders you have. It's so easy!

Anne will show you new ways to use "sticky things" to decorate your cards and give you some unusual finishes.

Anne will show you lots of ideas for using new Cuttlebug product + other companies products to create some wonderful designs for your papercrafting. Even if you haven't got a Cuttlebug machine you will still enjoy this class. If you have got one you could bring it along, together with any dies, embossing folders, other products, etc. to see what we can show you to get the most out of them

Anne will show you how to make a different style of card, then using stamps from a brand new English stamp company, and Copic Ciao markers, will show ways of decorating them. A stamp will be included and there will be special prices for Ciao markers on the day.

Anne will help you to create unusual, pretty pieces to use as backgrounds for your cards, using variuos things, eg: stamp pads, embossing pens, etc.

craft club
Craft Club - we offer the use of our classroom to those of you who may simply want to spend some time with other like-minded crafters. It does not really matter what type of craft you want to bring with you, but the majority of the ladies who have been coming, tend to be cardmakers. It is a great way to share your ideas!
The cost is £3.00 per session, and includes use of some basic equipment, and light refreshments.

Knitting, Crochet & Sewing Club - a new opportunity for those of you who might want to try something other than papercrafting, etc. Our classroom will be available on one Wednesday a month for people who might want to come along and meet with others who are knitting, crocheting or sewing(eg: patchwork).
The idea is that you will be able to come along and it be almost a self-help group to teach each other how to: knit, or crochet, etc. Some of our ladies can do one and not the other, so want to expand their repertoire by learning from each other.
This club will also be £3.00, and run from 10.00am - 1.00pm.
However, anyone wanting to do any type of craft is welcome to come to either type of Craft Club.
parchment craft courses
These are 5 week courses for beginners and/or those with some experience. They will show you the basics of the beautiful craft of embossing and perforating on parchment. Further classes will build your knowledge of equipment and techniques.
Dates for the next two courses are as follows, and at the moment, they are held from 10.00am - 1.00pm:

jewellery making classes
These are offered as either Wire or Thread based classes. Wire are held on Wednesdays and Thread are held on Saturdays.

If you have no beads or equipment, you may buy beads and borrow equipment from us. Your finished project is then yours to take away. Light refreshments are also included.

calligraphy classes
These classes are held on Saturday mornings, 9.00am - 11.00am. They run for three ten week terms, from September to June.
Cost of classes are £60.00 per 10 week session, payable in advance. Commenced Saturday, 26th September, 2009, but provision can be made to start at any time during the course, spaces permitting. painting and drawing classes
These classes are held on Fridays from 10.00am -3.00pm. They are organised on a three monthly programme, but each class is completely self-contained. An hours break is taken for lunch, all materials are provided, and light refreshments are included. Cost of classes is £25.00, but a discount is available for block booking. Bookings are made directly with the tutor, Terry O'Toole, for these classes. He can be contacted on 07969 177 369
GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING CLASSES
Places on most of our classes are limited, so it is essential to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Payment must be made at the time of booking, and can be accepted in the shop, by telephone, fax or post.
